Talent Nexus Co is a leading organization that requires a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Director to oversee the upkeep of our plant equipment, control systems, and building services. This leadership role demands strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive maintenance programs for all plant equipment, control systems, and building services. They will manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, skilled workers, and engineers to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
    • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment reliability and longevity.
    • Cultivate maintenance staff to adapt and promote safe work practices and environment.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair
    • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues.
    • Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, refractory installation, and repair services.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and spare parts.
    • Implement and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
    • Prepare and maintain maintenance records and reports.
  • Special Projects
    • Develop and implement Management of Change (MoC) program for CWTC.
    • Willing to work on ad-hoc job tasks if required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Degree or above in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
  • Experience
    • At least 8 years of experience in the maintenance of mechanical, instruments, or electrical systems, with 3 years' experience at supervisory level or above.
  • Skill Set
    • Strong leadership skills in managing maintenance teams and subcontractors to conduct various maintenance tasks.
    • Good communication and people management skills; detail-minded and responsive.
    • Proficiency in CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Knowledge of industrial automation systems such as Distribution Control System (DCS), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), or others will be beneficial.
    • Registered Electrical Workers with EMSD preferred.
