Music Educator

At Anfield School, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team of educators. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional to make a positive impact on the musical lives of our students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music to students aged 2-11 years old, with a focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. They will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement music programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

• Plan and deliver music lessons that meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and English National Curriculum
• Develop and maintain a stimulating and inclusive music program that promotes creativity and enthusiasm in students
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve whole-school music goals and objectives
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure they are informed about their child's progress and achievements
• Contribute to the development of music events and performances that showcase student talent and creativity

• Bachelor of Education (Honours) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education with Qualified Teacher Status
• A minimum of 3 years' experience teaching music to Early Years/Primary aged children
• Exceptional communication skills/English language skills
• High levels of ICT capability
• Possession of a sound understanding of music theory and a broad taste in music, including non-Western cultures
