**Job Summary**

As a Financial Manager at Sun Life, you will play a critical role in driving the financial success of our Asia Investment Management business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and development of our organization.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage daily finance operations, including expense tracking, expense/reimbursement approvals, journal entries posting, payments processing, and reconciliations, in accordance with the reporting timeline set by Asia Finance teams.
  • Prepare timely, accurate, and comprehensive analysis of budgets and monthly/quarterly results and forecasts through close interaction with the business, ensuring revenue and expenses are on track.
  • Act as a liaison with budget supervisors, business units, and Corporate, and manage the annual planning and budgeting process to ensure the meeting of the overall Company financial goals.
  • Prepare periodic FRR regulatory reporting and handle ad hoc requests from management.
  • Liaise with fund administrators to handle full sets of financial statements independently; Liaise with auditors or tax advisors for the annual audit, SFC regulatory filings, and tax filings; and Complete and submit annual SFC asset and wealth management activities survey.

**Requirements**

  • University graduate in Finance, Accounting, and Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • Min. 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in the asset and wealth management sector.
  • Qualified CPA is a must.
  • Experience in liaising with auditors and SFC regulatory filing is required.
  • Investment accounting experience is an advantage.
  • Solid accounting and SFC financial reporting knowledge.
  • Familiar with relevant SFC regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge about the operations of accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion).
  • Computer skills, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Capable of multitasking and working in a cultural environment.
