Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to oversee our financial operations and reporting. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance and accuracy in our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the accounting team in daily financial activities, including processing vouchers and managing payment requests.
  • Compile and prepare monthly management accounts and schedules for the company and its subsidiaries.
  • Assist in the development of monthly analytical reports to evaluate performance at both individual and consolidated levels.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of our ERP systems.
  • Prepare audit documentation and financial statements in accordance with IFRS, collaborating with both internal and external auditors.
  • Ensure adherence to the SOX compliance manual.
  • Support the preparation of annual and interim financial reporting packages for headquarters and regulatory authorities.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification as an Accountant (ACCA/HKICPA).
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within the telecommunications sector or with external audit exposure.
  • Experience in a multinational corporation with regional responsibilities is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Oracle and advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is a significant advantage.
