Job Description

The successful candidate will provide operational and project support to the user department by delivering high-quality remittance and settlement services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and approving inward and outward remittance transactions within set service standards
  • Collaborating with branches and departments to resolve daily operational issues
  • Handling customer inquiries via telephone
  • Liaising with clients to resolve any issues that may arise
  • Preparing daily and monthly control reports
  • Performing and reviewing nostro reconciliation breaks
  • Maintaining AML compliance requirements
  • Managing remittance charge reimbursement operations
  • Working with team heads to investigate payment-related issues
  • Reporting irregularities to supervisors and Department Head in a timely manner
  • Supporting managers in maintaining good communication and team spirits within the department
  • Providing training and coaching to subordinates
  • Performing other duties assigned by managers or Department Head as needed
  • Participating in user acceptance tests and system enhancement projects related to remittance services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Business Administration, Finance, or Management
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in the banking industry or a financial institution, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, people management, and analytical skills
  • Maturity and ability to work independently under pressure
  • Innovative and self-initiative mindset
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Candidate with Certified Banker qualification is an advantage
