Job Opportunity

The Institute for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team as a Postdoctoral Fellow or Senior Research Assistant. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects in the field of musculoskeletal biology and biomaterials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in musculoskeletal biology and biomaterials, with a focus on tissue engineering for musculoskeletal applications.
  • Develop and implement research plans, including grant writing and laboratory management.
  • Collaborate with the research team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of new biomaterials and biomaterial testing methods.
  • Present research findings at international conferences and publish in top-tier journals.

Requirements

  • PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, or Biology, or a medical degree or a Bachelor's degree with at least four years of post-degree research experience.
  • Excellent research skills, including molecular and cell biology techniques, biomaterial development skills, and experience with grant writing and laboratory management.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in drafting research proposals and academic papers.
