Job Title: Field Clinical Engineer

About the Role:

Boston Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Field Clinical Engineer to join our team. As a Field Clinical Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and management of clinical trials at selected clinical trial centers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training and maintaining knowledge of clinical trial protocols, CRV Clinical Department standard operating procedures, and compliance with worldwide regulatory bodies.
  • Managing clinical trial activity within assigned territory, completing interest visits and initiation visits as needed, and preparing centers for enrollments into clinical trials.
  • Providing initial and continuous training and education for clinical center personnel and sales representatives on clinical trial protocol, clinical process, products, and features.
  • Providing technical support for clinical trial procedures, including implants and follow-up visits, with direct patient contact in hospital or clinic settings.
  • Following company and divisional guidelines for managing inventory used in clinical trial protocols throughout the clinical process.
  • Traveling to accommodate clinical trial implant and follow-up case coverage, and supporting clinical center personnel and enrolled patients as needed.

  • Specialized and comprehensive technical and/or functional knowledge in own job function or field, with full understanding of other related job functions.
  • Applies knowledge of business and industry best practices and how own area integrates with others to achieve objectives to drive results.
  • Acts as a resource and mentor for colleagues with less experience, and may lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
  • Solves complex and diverse problems, takes a new perspective on existing solutions, and exercises judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
