At Aptitude Asia, we are seeking a highly skilled Equity Trading System Support professional to join our team.
**Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the operation and maintenance of cash equity trading systems, including Fidessa, Market Trader, ULBridge, and exchange connectivity.
- Perform system health checks, monitoring, and testing to ensure high availability and business continuity.
- Analyze, develop, test, and implement new client connections and trading system enhancements.
- Provide hands-on support to traders, escalating issues to management as necessary.
- Coordinate with exchange providers and ensure compliance requirements are met.
**Job Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2-6 years of experience in the investment banking or securities trading industry, with a strong background in developing and supporting equity trading applications.
- Proficient in supporting Fidessa and ULBridge FIX systems, as well as familiarity with system monitoring tools.
- In-depth knowledge of the FIX messaging protocol from both client and exchange perspectives.
- Expertise in system programming on Windows, Unix, and SQL database platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
