The role involves:

  • Product Development: Managing products from design approval to production readiness.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with Product Creation Development, Design, and Supply Chain departments to achieve product design intent.
  • Vendor Communication: Coordinating with global vendors and Arc'teryx's factory to communicate specifications and standards.
  • Manufacturing Support: Providing input to improve scalability, efficiency, and quality in manufacturing.
  • BOM Management: Transforming tech pack information into an accurate BOM database for efficient sourcing and production.
  • Process Optimization: Identifying gaps and opportunities, driving process improvements in collaboration with various departments.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Product Development, preferably with a focus on Technical/Functional Apparel or Woven/Knit Sportswear.
  • Experience in product costing and product lifecycle process.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of design intent, product aesthetics, construction, production, and size fit.
  • Strong knowledge of raw materials, technical construction, and sourcing.
  • Ability to travel offshore vendors accordingly to business needs.
  • Effective communication skills with both internal and external parties.
  • Pro-active problem solving, detail-oriented, and organized person with strong interpersonal skills.
