Job Summary

The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups is seeking a Part-time Tutor to provide academic support and developmental services to our After School Care Service participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide academic tutoring services to participants, including individual and group sessions.
  • Assist in the design and delivery of developmental programs, including outdoor activities.
  • Support the daily operations of the After School Care Service, including preparation of afternoon tea breaks.
  • Attend monthly service review meetings to discuss program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform other job assignments as instructed by the Unit-in-Charge.

Requirements

  • A pass in DSE or HKCEE, including English, Chinese, and Mathematics.
  • Relevant past experience is preferred.
  • Pleasant, caring, and patient personality.
  • Ability to work flexibly and have a sense of work responsibility.
  • Be creative, initiative, and communicative.

Working Conditions

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Ability to report duty in early September 2018.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates may be required to undergo a Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) if job duties involve frequent contact with children.
