Join Our Team:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Accounting Officer to join our team at BCD Meetings & Events. As an Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including payment processing and reconciliation.
  • Maintain customer and vendor master data profiles in financial ERP system.
  • Perform due diligence for new vendors by verifying details filled in vendor forms and supporting documents provided.
  • Work closely with operations team on billing and AR collection matters.
  • Check and prepare payments, ensuring all transactions are with proper approval, recorded timely and accurately in financial ERP system.
  • Verify all payment and claims for reimbursement, corporate card, and travel expenses.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries in compliance with local GAAP and company policies.
  • Ensure sufficient supporting documents are attached to each journal.
  • Ensure timely closing of month-end report and related deliverables.
  • Follow up closely on outstanding finance matters.

Requirements:

  • Degree in accounting/finance or equivalent with professional certification with local or international accountancy body.
  • Candidates with 1-2 years of accounting/finance experience and fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • Proficiency in Sun Microsystems/SAP and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Good quantitative analytical skills with an eye for details.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
