The Employees Retraining Board is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Contract Deputy Manager (Placement Services). This exciting opportunity involves managing and developing the board's district-based services through the ERB Service Centre and Service Spots network.
Key Responsibilities:- Service Network Development: Assist in setting up service networks at designated locations, coordinate renovation and design work of the service centre, and implement fixture and hardware setup plans.
- Software Development: Plan and manage software and applications development in support of service operation and new service features at the district service network.
- Tendering and Contract Management: Handle tendering of service contracts related to district service operation and manage service operators, including liaison with service operators for formulating service plans to achieve stipulated outcomes.
- Operation Guidelines and Monitoring: Prepare operation guidelines and monitor service performances of service operators.
- Project Management: Handle assigned projects and duties related to employment and support services.
- A recognised University degree preferably in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Human Resources Management, or relevant disciplines with a minimum of 5 years' post-degree work experience, of which at least 2 years should be at supervisory level.
- Experience in project management of renovation work and service application development would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of employment services, service centre administration, vocational training and/or continuing education with relevant experience in public organizations or NGOs would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, time management, organisational abilities, and attention to details.
- Good team player with effective interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English and Chinese, and good PC skills.
