We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented risk specialist to join our Risk Management team at FreedX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange. As a senior risk analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of our risk management framework, with a focus on quantitative analysis and risk modelling.

You will work closely with the Head of Market Risk and other stakeholders to identify, measure, monitor, and manage risk exposures, ensuring the firm's risk appetite and regulatory requirements are met. Your expertise will be invaluable in enhancing the accuracy of market risk assessments, developing real-time risk models, and providing support to the market-making and prop trading teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quantitative analysis of market risk exposures using advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms.
  • Develop and maintain real-time risk models to enhance the accuracy of market risk assessments.
  • Collect and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may impact market risk exposures.
  • Work closely with trading, market-making, product, compliance, and risk teams to ensure effective risk management practices are in place.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quantitative analysis, risk management, or a related field, with a strong background in financial and cryptocurrency markets.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Matlab, and experience with risk management systems, quantitative analysis, and visualization tools.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
