Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Alumni Development Officer to join our team at the City University of Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening alumni relations and fundraising endeavors for the University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strengthen alumni relations through effective communication and engagement strategies.
  • Coordinate cultivation and stewardship activities for alumni donors and prospects, including planning and executing events, campaigns, and projects.
  • Organize and lead fundraising activities and projects, including developing and implementing fundraising strategies and managing budgets.
  • Provide support for communication and meetings with stakeholders, including alumni, donors, and university staff.
  • Strengthen collaborations with internal and external units, including alumni associations, donor organizations, and community groups.
  • Conduct research and manage data related to alumni cultivation and fundraising, including analyzing trends and developing reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the University.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree with 7 years' post-qualification working experience.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
  • Strong public relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in IT skills.
  • Good organizational skills with high attention to details.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve goals efficiently.
  • Experience in alumni relations and fundraising, organizing activities and leading projects, data and statistics management would be an advantage.
