Job Description
  1. As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize data gathering.
  2. You will monitor and report on KPIs for each IT department, providing insight for improvements.
  3. Gathering critical information from meetings with stakeholders and producing useful reports is also key to this role.
  4. You will gather intelligence from corporate executives and middle managers about needs and future growth.
  5. Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion.
  6. Evaluate, test, and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our software, hardware, and IT processes.
  7. Compile and distribute reports on application development and deployment.
  8. Evaluate and draw conclusions from data related to customer behavior.
  9. Consult with the executive team and the IT department on the newest technology and its implications in the industry.
  10. Performing requirements analysis.
  11. Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
  12. Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
  13. Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  14. Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  15. Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics / Business Administration / Computer Science or any related field.
  2. More than 3 years working experience on data handling.
  3. Candidates with relevant qualification but less experience or fresh graduates will be considered as Assistant Data Analyst.
  4. Proficient with MS Excel, MS VBA, Access / MS SQL Server.
  5. Proficient in Data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Crystal Reports, Business Objects.
  6. Proficient in R / Matlab / SAS / Python other statistical software programming a plus.
  7. Experience in Business Intelligence and/or Data Mining is a definite advantage.
  8. Independent, self-motivated and team player.
  9. Strong analytical, numerical and research skills.
  10. Strong presentation and communication skills.
  11. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  12. Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  13. Adapts to a fast-moving IT landscape and keep pace with latest thinking and new technologies.
  14. Thrives on change, showing an impressive ability to drive the IT strategy forward.
  15. Analytical mind capable of managing numerous information sources and providing data analysis reports to senior management.
  16. Plans and Organizes, Multi-tasker.
