Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality instructional services as a Flight Simulator Instructor in accordance with Cathay Pacific operations manuals.
  • Maintain the highest standards of training and adhere to Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department requirements.
  • Develop and implement training programs, making recommendations for improvements and amendments in accordance with course development procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of courseware and training materials as required.
  • Ensure timely completion of training records and submit reports as necessary.
  • Provide access to up-to-date training aids and manuals.
  • Undergo annual standardization checks to ensure training meets the highest standards and complies with CAD and Company requirements.
  • Achieve and maintain the standard for HKCAD Approved Person certification.
  • Support special training projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Hold or have previously held an internationally recognized ATPL (A) license.
  • Have previous experience as a training pilot or check pilot in commercial operations.
  • Desirable to have simulator instructor experience.
  • Pass a successful pre-employment background check, including a criminal records check.

*As this is a Safety Sensitive Role, you are also required to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge and skills commensurate with providing modern airline initial and recurrent level training.
  • Ability to mentor and train ab initio flight students.
  • Demonstrate suitable flying skills.
  • High-level trainer skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
