Job Summary

The City University of Hong Kong is seeking a highly qualified Academic Veterinarian to join our team in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in training the next generation of veterinary clinicians and advancing animal health through clinical research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach equine sciences across the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) curriculum, ensuring students attain Day 1 competences related to equine practice.
  • Contribute to the development of the College and its Departments through administrative work and other duties.
  • Participate in research as part of a team, advancing knowledge in equine medicine and related fields.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess a veterinary qualification recognized for registration as a veterinary surgeon in Hong Kong. Board certification in equine medicine, equine sports medicine, or equine practice is required for appointment at Clinical Associate Professor level or above. A PhD and relevant experience are also highly desirable.
