Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare consolidated financial statements, management accounts, and various internal/external financial reports.
  • Conduct variance analysis comparing actual figures against budget/forecast and report on significant discrepancies.
  • Deliver analysis and insights regarding business and financial performance, including costs and margins.
  • Support strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and advise on the financial implications of business decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to local statutory reporting requirements and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial reporting systems and processes.
  • Identify financial opportunities and risks through thorough analysis and recommend appropriate actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a professional qualification.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial reporting and analysis management position.
  • Proven experience in team management and staff development.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and analytical techniques.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office, accounting systems, and reporting tools.
  • Experience in the communications industry is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional Asian languages is a plus.
