**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Business Intelligence Strategist to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited. This role requires a deep understanding of business needs and the ability to introduce new technologies that drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong partnerships with key stakeholders, understanding their evolving business needs and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Participate in project implementation and system development life-cycle activities, aligning with business requirements across the ORIX Asia Limited Group.
  • Analyze data using advanced techniques to uncover insights that inform business decisions and drive new opportunities.
  • Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Utilize various Business Intelligence (BI) tools to represent data in a clear and actionable format.
  • Develop and maintain data warehouses, integrating multiple data sources and ensuring data quality.
  • Map and sanitize data to ensure accurate representation and reliable decision-making.
  • Design and build data cubes and models that establish meaningful relationships between data sets.
  • Apply SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies to application development, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate Proof-of-Concepts and build prototypes to introduce new technologies and evaluate feasibility.
  • Conduct thorough feasibility studies and develop compelling business cases to secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to research and adopt innovative solutions that meet evolving business needs.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both vertically and horizontally, to ensure precise requirements are understood.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Preferred: Technical certifications such as Prince2, PMP, Scrum, or Agile.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT, preferably in banking/finance and accounting industries.
  • Hands-on experience with software development life-cycles, ecommerce platforms, and Business Intelligence.
  • Practical experience in implementing and supporting application systems for banking and finance industries is desirable.
  • Proficiency in leveraging tools such as Oracle Fusion Middleware, SQL programming, VBscript, PowerShell, and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of RDBS including MySQL, SQL, and Oracle.
  • Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Qlik, Data Mining, and Data Warehousing.
  • Strong understanding of IT architecture, integration, and design.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and results-driven approach.
