Job Title: Investment Banking Intern

FTI Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banking Intern to join our team in Hong Kong. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced professionals on cross-border M&A and financing-related restructuring and consultancy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct industry and company research to prepare client pitching materials, including PowerPoint presentations, teasers, and translations.
  • Coordinate with global counterparts throughout the deal origination and execution process, including liaison on engagement letters and lead internal clearance processes.
  • Support restructuring and ancillary investment banking origination initiatives, including financial modeling, drafting reports, reviewing and analyzing financial data and information.
  • Arrange client meetings, maintain client files and records, and take meeting minutes.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties and support general corporate finance administrative functions as required.
Requirements:
  • Student in penultimate year or final year majoring in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or Business-related discipline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in Mandarin and English.
  • Strong MS Office presentation, language, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in financial modeling and/or other financial applications is a plus.
  • Right to work in Hong Kong.
