Role Overview:

RGA seeks a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Contract Business Administration Analyst. This role plays a vital part in the end-to-end processing of Life and Living Benefits treaties/products and associated client data. The successful candidate will acquire in-depth knowledge of insurance and reinsurance operations and apply this expertise to ensure seamless processing of client data related to reinsurance treaties.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process data in RGA administration and claims system, including daily Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) exercises.
  • Validate Premium and Claims statements against treaty terms and conditions, identifying and explaining variances to management.
  • Support compliance tasks to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze treaty information and transform it to match RGA administration system attributes.
  • Support business development, pricing, valuation, and finance departments by performing data extraction, month-end tasks, or ad-hoc reports.
  • Communicate with clients to clarify issues or follow up on outstanding matters.
Requirements:
  • A university degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computing Science, Business Administration, Business Analysis, or related disciplines.
  • 1-3 years' experience in the financial industry, preferably in life insurance/reinsurance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and database software such as MS Excel (PivotTable, Power Query), SQL-related applications.
  • Capable of using automation tools (e.g., Python, VBA, Power Automate).
  • Able to work on multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Client-focused and self-motivated, driven to achieve targets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
