Job Description

The role of the Railway Infrastructure Maintenance Manager is to lead a team of supervisors and technical staff in planning, organizing, and managing track maintenance, renewal activities, modification works, or railway extension interfacing works in accordance with required standards.

The manager will be responsible for preparing cost estimation reports on project works, as well as managing and monitoring the project programme. Additionally, they will prepare procedures, standards, and work instructions, conduct audits and inspections on related maintenance activities to ensure compliance with relevant requirements and safety rules.

The Permanent Way Integrity Assurance team under this role will plan and organize non-destructive tests (NDT) and inspection, oversee NDT personnel qualification and certification, conduct audit and personnel technical performance evaluation, and monitor implementation and effectiveness of processes and procedures required to assure the integrity of Permanent Way assets throughout their life cycle.

Under the Permanent Way Machine Production team, the manager will plan and organize Permanent Way machine operations, oversee Permanent Way machine operators' qualification and certification, conduct audit and personnel technical performance evaluation, coordinate maintenance and asset replacement for Permanent Way machinery assets, and monitor implementation and effectiveness of processes and procedures required for wheel-rail interface and track alignment control using Permanent Way machines.
