KPMG China is a leading audit practice in the Mainland Chinese and Hong Kong markets. Our Financial Services group, both locally and internationally, has been growing rapidly in recent years, especially in China. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Audit to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead teams and assist Partners in carrying out quality audit service in various Financial Services sectors, including Asset Management, Private Equity, Insurance, Banking, and Capitals.
  • Work collaboratively with members of Client Service, Marketing, and Business Development teams to create strong links between marketing business development and key clients' activities.
  • Plan effective auditing processes and inspect internal systems and controls, assessing risk management tactics.
  • Explain audit findings and recommend solutions, playing a key role in preparing audit proposals and presentations.
  • Provide coaching and constructive feedback to team members.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant with Financial Services audit experience with a major firm is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to research accounting issues in a wide variety of GAAPs.
  • Strong business awareness and the ability to identify audit issues arising from commercial transactions.
  • Effective in networking and internal collaboration with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Team player, with the ability to multi-task, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
  • Socially confident with good diplomacy and organization skills.
