About the Role

A Police Constable is a critical member of the Hong Kong Police Force, responsible for performing a wide variety of police duties and maintaining law and order in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deployed on various police tasks and operations
  • May be posted to different police formations, including uniform branch, traffic wing, crime wing, or marine region
  • Subject to discipline under the Police Force Ordinance and required to work shifts and irregular hours
Requirements
  1. Must have Level 2 or equivalent in five subjects in the HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent
  2. Must be able to read and write Chinese and speak fluent Cantonese
  3. Must pass physical fitness, eyesight, and medical examinations
  4. Must be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
  5. Must have a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test
