At Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited, we are seeking an Aviation Capacity Planner to join our team.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As an Aviation Capacity Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed efficiently by monitoring progress, adjusting capacity plans, and proposing solutions to meet milestones.

You will work closely with the Resources Planning team to provide reliable data on manpower availability for new business inquiries and support decision-making to maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage and adjust capacity based on project priorities, trade capacity availability, workload plans, and potential risks.
  • Develop and propose alternative solutions for capacity rearrangements to meet project milestones.
  • Assist the Resources Planning team in providing reliable data on manpower availability.
  • Closely monitor and verify WIP project progress with Takt team / BM Managers.
  • Reserve and replan capacity considering project priority, trade capacity availability, V0 & V1 workload plan from TET & TAKT team, and potential risk of TRT extension.
  • Propose alternative solutions (capacity / workload rearrangement) to catch up milestones while minimizing impact to hangar and future capacity plan.
  • Support Resources Planning team on manpower availability when receiving new business inquiries.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the aviation industry, with at least 3 years in Project Management, capacity planning, or operations analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
  • Experience with capacity modeling tools or techniques.
  • Familiarity with software applications for capacity planning, project management, and data visualization.
  • Able to work under tight schedules.
