Business Finance Manager – Finance & Strategic Projects

Our client is a globally recognized firm with a strong presence in the Asia Pacific region. As a market leader in their field, they provide services and advisory to multinational corporations, financial institutions, and high net worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Regional COO in project managing strategic initiatives and ensuring engagement from the business.
  • Build strong relationships with business units to drive growth and profitability, and ensure the right talent and resources are in place to achieve goals.
  • Evaluate the commercial and financial viability of strategic projects, including expansion plans into new jurisdictions or capitalizing on new channels of revenue.
  • Facilitate and coordinate projects across business and functional heads, ensuring harmony and engagement throughout.
  • Act as a key point of contact across all business functions, including HR, finance, sales, and marketing, IT, and operations.
Requirements
  • Professionally qualified with an ACA/CIMA or MBA degree.
  • 10-15 years of work experience within a multinational brand corporation, with demonstrated progression within the same organization.
  • Numerically strong and experienced in financial modeling and evaluating investment opportunities or strategic ideas.
  • Proven consulting or project management skills, and an ability to engage others to follow agreed timelines.
  • Strong relationship building skills and an ability to influence and win buy-in to new concepts and ideas.
  • Strong communication skills in English and ideally another Asian language, with hands-on experience of working in Asia Pacific.
  • Good listener and curious of mind to be a strong business partner and identify the needs of the business.

This is a great opportunity to work alongside a highly respected Regional COO of a leading corporation. You will work in a high-profile capacity and have exposure to major projects and strategic initiatives. There is excellent opportunity to excel in this role and open doors to secondments overseas or to progress internally into any of the business functions.
