Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Trade Operations Specialist to join our Order Admin Team of 5 members. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing orders from contract preparation through to shipment and receipt of supplier documentation.
• The ideal candidate will manage the entire contract administration process for orders, ensuring timely progression from receiving an order confirmation to settlement.
• Key responsibilities include preparing sales and purchase contracts, issuing letters of credit, and delivering sales/purchase contracts after every booking.
• The successful candidate will also follow up on shipments and documents from suppliers, maintaining a system for monitoring each order to ensure timely progression.
• An additional responsibility will be preparing shipping/banking documents in conformity with letters of credit and/or sales contracts.
• The Trade Operations Specialist will work closely with banks, customers, and overseas offices to ensure proper handling of documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Tertiary education
• At least 3 years of experience in handling order administration for trading houses or equivalent
• Experience in Steel/Metals/commodities is highly valued
• Fluency in spoken Mandarin is essential
• Good working levels of written and spoken Chinese and English
• Experience in shipping documents, particularly letters of credit
