About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Actuarial Intern. As an intern, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of a particular area of the business on either full-time or part-time basis.

The primary objective of this role is to gain practical knowledge of the business area, the company, and the industry while making a meaningful contribution to the team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial analysis and prepare reports under different valuation bases using spreadsheet and/or Prophet models
  • Verify valuation basis applied in financial models and ensure accuracy
  • Support coding of new products and enhancements of spreadsheet and/or Prophet models
  • Analyze results and provide explanations
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks assigned by managers

Requirements:

  • University students majoring in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance, or Finance with strong mathematical background
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Prophet, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), or other computer programming languages are advantages
