Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to lead our logistics team in daily operations, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery of shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee logistics team members to ensure efficient execution of daily operations.
  • Manage bookings and coordinate with shipping lines and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation for air, ocean, and truck import/export shipments.
  • Identify and address potential issues promptly to ensure successful resolution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to foster effective communication and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage budget variances to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Oversee vendor performance and internal service agreements to ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Experience in freight forwarding and freight forwarder management.
  • Knowledge of full sets of shipment documentation.
  • Familiarity with SAP/Oracle ERP system process.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mandarin speaking preferred.
