Salary

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.

Job Description

We seek a distinguished academician to fill several Tenure-Track Clinical Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Assistant Professor positions in our Department of Anaesthesiology. The appointees will be responsible for:

  • Teaching and supervising medical students and postgraduate students
  • Conducting academic research in anaesthesia and/or pain medicine
  • Discharging duties at hospital(s) and clinic(s) affiliated with HKU Health System

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible for these positions, applicants should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong, with the attainment of the status as Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine or equivalent. A higher academic qualification (e.g. MD, MS, Ph D) is also advantageous.

Benefits

The appointments will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. A monthly cash allowance will be offered to the successful candidate. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
