Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited in Hong Kong. As a renowned news and media corporation, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch technical support to our organization.

Estimated Salary: HK$60,000 - HK$100,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain software and computer systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware, utilizing analytical skills to identify solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by walking colleagues and clients through steps to help them resolve technical problems.
  • Maintain detailed procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire organization.
  • Analyze records and logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues, ensuring proactive measures are taken to mitigate risks.
  • Support the implementation of new solutions or applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment.
  • Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Participate in business-wide meetings to provide insight into technical requirements, contributing to informed decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Certifications are preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge and expertise with various software, hardware, and applications in both Windows and Mac OS.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges and drive projects to completion.
  • Strong analytical skills to study problems and records, identifying effective solutions.
  • Team-oriented attitude to collaborate with colleagues and departments, providing exceptional technical support.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills to engage with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
