Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic English teacher to teach English as a second language to primary school students in Hong Kong. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of your students and contribute to the growth and development of our company.
Responsibilities
- Teaching and Lesson Planning: You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans and teaching materials to meet the needs of your students. This includes developing curriculum content, preparing teaching resources, and implementing effective instructional strategies.
- Classroom Management: You will lead and organize English activities outside the classroom, ensuring a lively and productive learning environment that fosters student engagement and motivation.
- Collaboration with Colleagues: You will work closely with local teachers and the English Panel of the schools on curriculum and resource development, contributing to the continuous improvement of our language training programs.
- Assessment and Evaluation: You will assess student progress and provide constructive feedback, using this information to inform your teaching practice and improve student outcomes.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A bachelor's degree in any subjectPrior experience in teaching English as a second language to primary school studentsThe ability to execute lessons with meaning, in a fun, and engaging mannerTEFL/TESOL Certificate, CELTA, or PGCE/PGDE in EnglishBenefits
