This is an exciting opportunity to join the Bank of China as a Senior System Administration Manager (Cloud) where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. As a key member of our Information Technology Department, you will be responsible for providing 24/7 support and ensuring that our cloud systems are running efficiently.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional with a strong understanding of cloud platforms, particularly in areas such as compute, storage, backup & recovery. Your expertise should include experience with Red Hat Openshift, Containers, Ansible, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Prometheus, Huawei HCS, MySQL, Redis, or similar technologies. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Cloud operations is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing 24x7 support for cloud infrastructure systems.
- Ensuring the daily operation and maintenance of cloud systems.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- An undergraduate degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- A good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English, with knowledge of Mandarin being a plus.
- Experience working with financial institutions and understanding technical architecture of banking systems is preferred.
