Design Lead for Portfolio Development

We are looking for an experienced Design Lead to join our team and drive the development of our portfolio. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and planning new construction and renovation projects across our group's portfolio. The ideal candidate will focus on the Asia-Pacific region and collaborate with internal stakeholders and contractors to deliver projects successfully.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement design strategies that support the company's growth objectives.
  • Provide technical advice to guide the design process from conception to completion.
  • Foster relationships with external parties such as consultants and contractors to ensure high-quality work.
  • Oversee the design & planning of projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Review brand, contract, and timeline management.
  • Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Department Head.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, and have minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience. Candidates with experience in hotel/resort projects are preferred, as well as those with overseas project experience. Proficiency in design software, strong communication and leadership skills, and a good command of English and Chinese are also essential.
