Railway Systems Supervisor / Technical Officer / Supervisor I (Asset Replacement Management – Power Distribution)

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Railway Systems Supervisor to oversee the replacement of high voltage and low voltage assets, as well as testing and commissioning.
  • This role will involve supervising a team of technical staff or contractors, taking daily site inspection records, and ensuring compliance with corporate, contract, and statutory requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent communication skills, and experience in project administration and coordination.
  • This position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure reliable and safe railway operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise asset replacement works, testing, and commissioning
  • Take daily site inspection records of project progress, work safety, and quality
  • Inspect work safety and quality in compliance with corporate, contract, and statutory requirements
  • Assist in planning and organizing work execution to ensure good site progress
  • Support project administration of project documents, site records, and as-built drawings
  • Coordinate with other departments on work execution to ensure reliable and safe railway operation
  • Perform Authorized Person (Electrical) duties for power equipment outage when required

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience, of which 3 years should be at supervisory level
  • Possession of the 'Authorized Person (Electrical)' qualification, Grade 'C' or 'H' Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker, and a valid Hong Kong driving license Class 1 and 2 are preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
