Empowering Financial Excellence as a Senior Director

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Director of Financial Solutions to join our esteemed team at Wolters Kluwer N.V. in Hong Kong.

About the Role:

This pivotal position entails leading the closure of sales prospects for our OneSumX Finance, Risk, and Regulatory solutions within the APAC region. As a key member of our Presales team, you will report directly to the Head of Presales, Asia Pacific.

You will be responsible for addressing critical challenges during the presales process, including building tailored presales materials, supporting RFP/RFI's, maintaining existing demo environments, and testing new product releases.

  • Listens attentively to and comprehends prospect business requirements.
  • Helps qualify opportunities to ensure alignment with customer needs.
  • Presents and demonstrates our financial risk management solution (ALM, Market risk, Liquidity Risk, stress testing, Capital management, and Regulatory Capital and Internal Capital Targets) relative to prospect business goals.
  • Positions our Regulatory reporting solutions for Singapore, Australia, and Hong Kong.
  • Effectively articulates our value proposition throughout all stages of the sales process.
  • BUILDS and maintains use cases and demonstration setups of specific software modules.
  • Prepares and conducts product workshops and proof-of-concepts on prospect sites.
  • Generates pre-sales support documents.
  • Provides expert financial and business content and subject matter expertise to current and prospective customers, as well as internal peers.
  • Completes RFI/RFP's.
  • Conducts functional gap analyses and addresses business issues raised by prospects, ensuring seamless collaboration with sales teams to close processes effectively.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • 10+ years of experience in Finance/Risk Management solution consulting in Software Companies or System Integrators.
  • A strong background in Finance/Accounting/Risk with a deep understanding of Technology platforms.
  • Proven pre-sales experience in selling products in a similar space is advantageous.
  • Nice-to-have knowledge areas include:
    • Finance: e.g., GL and subledgers, IFRS, Budgeting, and financial consolidation.
    • Risk Management: e.g., ALM, liquidity risk management, stress testing.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within APAC.
  • Energetic and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
