This role involves managing the daily activities of footwear product development, from concept to production. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in shoes development, excellent project management skills, and sharp communication in English and Chinese.
The Company Overview
- JPC TEXSON LTD is a European sports and outdoor footwear brand owner and global retailer.
- The Hong Kong office serves as the regional office and sourcing office for the Asian market.
Salary and Benefits
- A competitive salary and bonus structure are offered.
- 13 months' salary plus bonus.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the daily activity throughout the development process from concept to production.
- Responsible for product development in compliance with stylistic expectations and quality grade defined by the laboratory house, while respecting schedules and margin objectives.
- Collaborate with different departments (Offer, Studio, Quality, Sourcing, Marketing, Supply Chain) and travel occasionally to France and Asia.
- Participate in product testing and feedback sessions to refine designs and improve functionality.
- Develop products that meet or exceed predetermined gross margin targets, advising where product efficiency can be made.
- Partner with the quality team for product assurance to ensure superior quality and timely delivery of sales samples each season.
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or degree holders in Fashion, Footwear, or related field are preferred.
- 8+ years' experience in shoes development.
- Experience in interpreting tech packs and reading 2D files.
- Strong knowledge of shoe construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Sharp communication in English and Chinese.
- Competent with MS Office, PLM, and have experience with graphic programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (3D software a bonus).
- Business trips to Europe & Asia are required.
- 5-day work week.
