Senior DevSecOps / DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps / DevOps Engineer to join our team at the Bank of China. As a key member of our Information Technology Department, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our DevSecOps solution, ensuring the security and efficiency of our software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • DevSecOps Solution Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain our DevSecOps solution to ensure the security and efficiency of our software development lifecycle.
  • Delivery Pipeline Management: Build and maintain our delivery pipeline applying CI/CD principles to ensure smooth and secure software deployment.
  • Tool Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining DevSecOps and Agile tools to enable CI/CD operating model and agile development.
  • Container Image Management: Manage container images and deployment files to ensure security and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of IT experience with minimum 1 year in DevSecOps / DevOps related role. Candidate with less experience will be considered as DevSecOps / DevOps Engineer.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in installing, maintaining, updating, upgrading, and administering DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, GitLab, GitLab runner). Knowledge of microservice, API, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and Java development (e.g., source control, maven build).
  • Desirable Skills: Knowledge of security tools (e.g., Fortify SCA, WebInspect, Prisma Cloud, Trufflehog, Black Duck), test automation (e.g., JUnit, Selenium, JMeter, Appium), base image hardening, container image agent installation, and resolving image vulnerability issues. Integration with Jira and DevOps components, microservice development (E.g. SpringBoot).
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, open-minded, ownership mindset, good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a strong 'can-do' attitude. Proficiency in both Chinese and English, Mandarin is an advantage.
