About the Job: Data Insights Strategist - Digital and Data

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our Digital and Data Department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business users to deliver timely and quality customer insights and data solutions.
  • Utilize customer data, including structured and unstructured data, to identify business opportunities to support business growth.
  • Develop reports and dashboards using BI tools, translating data into actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Lead the development of analytical frameworks and AI/ML projects.
  • Collaborate with the Data Management Team and IT to identify valuable data sources from all touchpoints and transform them into an analytical-friendly format to support analysis, enhance digital journeys, and optimize processes.
  • Consistently review and refine customer segmentation and tags to improve targeting effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the Data Management team and IT to develop a data management strategy that ensures data quality and integrity in HKBN.
  • Review and develop reporting and process automation to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in IT, IS, Statistics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or data engineering using large-scale databases.
  • Proficient in free-hand SQL and Python.
  • Solid experience in data visualization using Power BI.
  • Good knowledge of advanced analytics and ML techniques.
  • Positive and innovative learning attitude, proficient in problem-solving and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with various cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
