The Centre for Immunology & Infection (C2i) is seeking a highly skilled Scientific Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our scientists to perform a range of laboratory tasks, including routine maintenance of equipment, sterilization of materials and preparing laboratory apparatus.

To be successful in this role, you will require a Higher Diploma or above in a science discipline and at least 2 years' experience working in a laboratory environment. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude and ability to learn new skills quickly are essential. On-the-job training will be provided.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Sterilization of laboratory materials
  • Preparation and handling of laboratory apparatus
  • Maintenance of records and inventory
  • Providing technical assistance to support R&D activities
