Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Services Assistant to join our team at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. As a key member of our Career Services team, you will play a vital role in providing career advice to MBA students and supporting their job search efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one career guidance to MBA students, helping them to identify their career goals and develop a plan to achieve them.
  • Work with other career advisors to review each student's career interest and job search situation, providing insights and customized support to match them with relevant job opportunities.
  • Support the development of career training programs that enhance students' employability, gathering up-to-date job market trends and industry insights.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners and recruiters, providing job opportunities for students and developing industry knowledge to facilitate their job search strategies.
  • Assist in planning and executing career activities, including recruitment talks, industry executive sharing, virtual career events, and career workshops.
  • Support the team in preparing presentations, conducting data analysis, and compiling reports.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed to support the team's seasonal needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of work experience in a relevant field, such as recruitment, human resources, corporate learning and development, or a related background.
  • Proven passion for developing long-term corporate relationships and a proactive work attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
