Job Description

As a Climate Risk Management Professional at China Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation Limited, you will play a critical role in overseeing the bank's climate risk management framework. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating and implementing relevant climate risk and/or ESG-related key policies, measures, tools, reporting, processes, and practices.

Additionally, you will conduct regular monitoring reports on climate-related risks to which the bank is exposed, identify materiality and perform strategic assessments of climate-related risks, and support the enhancement of the bank's climate risk management framework and policy. You will also work closely with regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement climate risk and ESG-related key policies, measures, tools, reporting, processes, and practices.
  • Conduct regular monitoring reports on climate-related risks.
  • Identify materiality and perform strategic assessments of climate-related risks.
  • Support the enhancement of the bank's climate risk management framework and policy.
  • Work closely with regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, risk management, business administration, environmental science, or sustainability. Advanced degrees or certifications in sustainability and climate risk are advantageous. Relevant experience in climate risk management or related risk management fields for financial institutions is preferable. Sound knowledge of climate risk management standards and guidelines is essential.

Skills and Qualifications
