Job Title: Development Officer

Job Summary:

The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing research plans and strategies to achieve our organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement research plans and strategies in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage team research projects, including setting project timelines, allocating resources, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to gather input, provide updates, and ensure research objectives are met.
  • Ensure research activities adhere to ethical standards, research protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to research staff. Oversee their work, provide feedback, and promote professional development.
  • Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Present research findings at conferences, workshops, and other public forums.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Social Science, or a related discipline

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a responsible leadership role
