Senior Research Scientist in Cancer Immunology

The Centre for Oncology and Immunology is a cutting-edge research institution dedicated to developing innovative therapies to combat hard-to-treat malignancies. We are seeking an experienced Senior Research Scientist to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced research projects in cancer immunology, including the development of novel therapies and treatments.
  • Collaborate with our research team to design and implement experiments, collect and analyze data, and draw conclusions.
  • Develop and maintain complex laboratory equipment and techniques, including Flow Cytometry, Imaging, NGS, CRISPR, Drug Screening, and Single Cell technology.
  • Train users and organize workshops on laboratory equipment and techniques.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating protocols for laboratory users.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned, including managing supplies, ordering materials, and maintaining laboratory records.
  • Assist in collaborative research projects, including the discovery of cancer biomarkers using large-scale multi-omics approaches, organoid technology, and novel animal models, as well as anti-cancer or immuno-oncology drug development.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • PhD in Biomedical Sciences or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in biomedical research, preferably in Flow Cytometry, Imaging, NGS, CRISPR, Drug Screening, and Single Cell technology.
  • Proven track record of publishing research findings in reputable scientific journals.
  • Strong teamwork attitude and ability to manage up, down, and laterally.
  • A good command of written and spoken English, with excellent presentation skills.
