Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Control Specialist to join our team at China CITIC Bank International Limited.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for Fintech Transformation and other strategic projects, as well as BAU expenditure items.
  • Prepare detailed management reports with variance analysis between budget and actual financial results, and provide insightful analysis on the financial healthiness of projects and BAU cost trends, along with recommendations for management.
  • Develop and present clear explanations and presentations of financial management information for Fintech Transformation and other strategic projects, and BAU expenditure for cost management purposes.
  • Ensure timely settlement of various invoices and accrual arrangements to meet project and BAU budget plans.
  • Assist in annual budget planning for projects and BAU, ensuring adherence to defined budgeting systems and procedures.
  • Support proper management and allocation of IT costs.
  • Provide accurate expense data to BU/SUs to support their budget monitoring and planning.
  • Collaborate in finance process improvement and change initiatives, encompassing existing processes and new initiatives.
  • Contribute to review and implementation of financial policies and reporting.
  • Evaluate and ensure proper control, timeliness, and accuracy of financial analysis, budgeting, and tracking, as well as financial payments.
  • Undertake additional tasks/projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in financial planning and control.
  • Deep understanding of financial processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of managing financials.
  • Attention to detail, sensitivity to numbers, and hands-on experience in accounting operations.
  • Basic comprehension of business and technical aspects of system platforms.
  • Good knowledge of process reengineering.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access DB, PowerPoint) and strong plus if experienced in Oracle and VBA.
  • Able to work with different levels and explain financial concepts in simple terms.
  • Self-motivated and able to encourage teammates to cooperate and work towards team objectives.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
