Job Title: Actuarial Manager - IFRS17 ReportingPrudential plc is seeking an experienced Actuarial Manager to join our team in IFRS17 Reporting. As an Actuarial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the execution of Prophet models to produce and communicate high-quality results on IFRS17 basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the execution of Prophet models to produce and communicate high-quality results on IFRS17 basis.
- Monitor and explain actual performance against business plan and other key financial measures as appropriate.
- Provide necessary and sufficient analytical review and management control review to ensure the robustness and explanation of financials.
- Prepare and manage processes and controls to ensure high-quality results and analysis are produced as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Work with internal and external auditors to ensure processes and controls are of high quality.
- Support downstream working of IFRS17 disclosure preparation and analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the actuarial department.
- Good exam progress for SoA or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of actuarial concepts, insurance accounting, HKFRS/IFRS.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Good inter-personal and communication skills in both spoken and written English.
- Ability to work with diverse personalities, cultures, and business practices in an international organization.
- Operates with high standards and integrity.
- Proactive, able to work under tight deadlines/pressure, and perform multiple tasks when needed.
- Familiar with Prophet and with good programming knowledge.
