In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable web applications using modern technologies. You will work closely with designers and project managers to drive business goals and product iteration.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build reusable code libraries and frameworks for future projects.
  • Develop new or maintain existing web projects and systems with high quality code.
  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to drive business goals and product iteration.
  • Stay current with industry trends and utilize best modern tools for projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in computer science or related disciplines with minimum 3 years of web development experience.
  • Hands-on experience in using microservice architecture with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in Node.js, PHP, and MySQL.
  • Solid knowledge of responsive web build, CSS3, and HTML5.
  • Having experience in Magento is beneficial.
  • Good understanding of web performance tuning, web analytics, and SEO techniques.
  • Experience in DevOps or CI/CD tools (e.g. Git, Jira) and test automation would be a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills; flexible, proactive, and ability to work under a fast-paced environment.
  • A good team player, independent, responsible, eager to learn, and passionate about exploring new technology.
  • Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese and English.
