Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled System Analyst with expertise in Java to join our team at Pathos Consultancy Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing business requirement gathering, system analysis, and leading the entire software development life cycle from design to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development team in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions for the insurance domain.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Scrum Master, Business Analyst, and Project Management teams, to ensure project progression and solution architecture refinement.
  • Manage API integrations across sub-systems, conduct system performance tuning, and process CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  • Supervise both on-shore and off-shore development teams to ensure timely solution delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in backend server development or API development, preferably in enterprise-scaled systems.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus, but not essential.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Nest.js, Restful API/gRPC, and Microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Linux OS console and scripting using Python/Shell.
  • Knowledge of containerized orchestration and cloud computing technologies, such as Kubernetes (AKS/AKE) and Docker.
  • Familiarity with automation testing, including tools like Selenium, Postman, JUnit, SonarQube, and Cucumber.
