The Centre for Oncology and Immunology at Hong Kong SAR is a leading centre for innovative anti-cancer and immuno-oncology drug development. We aim to harness the power of biotechnology to develop novel therapies to combat hard-to-treat malignancies and bring hope to millions of cancer patients around the world.

We employ novel functional screens as well as genomic and proteomic techniques to identify novel 'druggable' cancer targets. Leveraging the translational and clinical trial expertise of our lead scientists, we establish advanced technical platforms to facilitate our overall goal of bringing candidate drugs and novel immunotherapy approaches into clinics.

**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatician to join our research team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in co-ordinating research projects, developing research methods, processing clinical and investigative data, statistical analysis, working independently on statistical modelling, algorithm development, and high-throughput sequencing data analysis.

We are looking for a candidate with a Master or PhD degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, or related disciplines, preferably with relevant research experience in Cancer Biology, Bioinformatics, Immuno-oncology, or Single Cell Technology (scRNAseq, sc-ATACseq, 10X genomics & illumina platform).

A strong working knowledge of programming languages (Python, Perl, C++, or R), basic data network configuration, and statistical software packages is essential. A good publication record showing competence in bioinformatics would be an advantage.

**Key Requirements**
