As a VP Lawyer, you will primarily provide legal support to our Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives business in Asia. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing legal advice on various transactions including derivatives and structured products trading.
  • Supporting the business in regulatory matters and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Reviewing and negotiating agreements with service providers.
  • Managing and instructing external counsels.

Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Advising on derivatives and structured products trading.
  • Supporting the business in regulatory matters.
  • Reviewing and negotiating agreements with service providers.
  • Managing and instructing external counsels.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A qualified lawyer with 3-8 years of post-qualification experience in derivatives/master documentation, gained either in-house or in private practice.
  • Knowledgeable about the FICC and EQD business and experienced in drafting and negotiating ISDA Master Agreements.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently and build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of both English and Chinese.
